At the same time, two-factor authentication (2FA) makes it more difficult to break into your account, especially if someone else learns your master password. With one of the best password managers installed on your devices, your passwords and other sensitive data are encrypted and securely stored on the password manager’s servers. If you do reuse the same passwords, once a hacker gets one of them, they can then access all of your other accounts and in the process, potentially steal your identity. The upside is that it's blazing fast, with just 1% packet loss.At the same time though, the best password managers allow you to quickly and easily generate strong, complex passwords for you so you don’t have to come up with them on your own. It's not designed to circumvent geoblocking, though, and territorial options are much more limited than other offerings with no locations in Central or South America.

F-Secure Freedome VPNį-Secure's Freedome VPN is ideally suited to beating surveillance. It's an ongoing battlefront, however: we'd be wary of assuming that a service we found to work will continue to do so, and vice-versa. Our results here confirm that content providers are successfully barring access from many known VPN servers. For each service, we also tried to view iPlayer content when connected to a UK point of presence.
Where necessary we tried multiple servers and enabled any additional features that might help, such as Smart-Play in NordVPN. We tested how well each service could defeat geoblocks by connecting to a US server and attempting to view US content on Netflix.
